The school believes in the saying, 'Every Child Matters' and sets the three Cs [i.e.] Care, Commitment and Competence as the core elements of its vision - a goal that has been upheld and strengthened at all times, irrespective of the innumerable challenges faced by the school. The school imbibes a culture that is all-pervasive and enduring, designed to help children and the staff have a happier and healthier future. The teaching faculty is committed towards creating a system that integrates values along with the academic curriculum inculcating a sense of commitment amongst the students in all their endeavours. The varied exposure given to students by a cohort of experts in diverse fields ranging from fast changing demands of technology to music and art enhances competency skills in students. ARTS

Ms.B USHA
"I have completed my MFA and have been working as an art teacher in BVM since 1993. Tribal art has been incorporated into the art syllabus for all classes to help children learn more about India's rich art and culture. The syllabus also includes landscape art, object study, still life, creative compositions, paper crafts like origami, cards etc. Children are also introduced to different techniques in art such as shading, sketching and painting. I have also conducted online workshops relating to tribal art for teachers during the lockdown. Art does not only act as a stress buster for the students, it also teaches important values and life skills. During art classes children learn to share by lending and borrowing art materials, they develop the habit of waiting for their turn to use the art supplies, students learn to appreciate others works, nurture their creative side and also develop the confidence to showcase their artworks to the class."
